We create opportunities to reimagine chapters of their story.
Full Circle Social Enterprises exists to expand choice, agency and opportunity for young people growing up within unequal systems, enabling them to build lives of dignity, confidence and possibility.
Our story began with an awareness that opportunity is not distributed equally.
For many of us, migration changed the course of our families’ lives. We grew up conscious that our futures might have looked very different had previous generations not had the means, support or opportunity to pursue another path. From that understanding came a question that continues to guide us:
What becomes possible when young people are given access to the skills, guidance, relationships and opportunities that others often take for granted?
We partner deeply with schools, communities and local leaders working within systems shaped by poverty and inequality. Together, we co-design long-term leadership, life skills, mentoring and employability pathways that respond to local realities and strengthen the people and systems surrounding young people.
Young people are not passive beneficiaries of our work. They are partners in it. Their experiences, aspirations and voices help shape what we design, how we deliver it and how we understand meaningful change.
Our full-circle approach recognises that leadership cannot be taught in isolation. It is shaped by culture, relationships, economic conditions and access to opportunity. That is why we work not only with individual students, but alongside educators, mentors, families and community leaders – building confidence, capability and choice over time.
We are not here to prescribe a future or promise that a single program can overcome structural inequality. We are here to help create the conditions in which young people can understand their strengths, navigate complex systems and make informed choices about the lives they wish to lead.
This is what it means to reimagine futures together.
Deeper dive
We are currently in partnership with a school based in Kolkata, India that delivers primary and high school education to students from underprivileged communities. We have worked with our partner to develop a Leadership Program curriculum around the needs of the school and the community.
The content in the leadership program modules including Foundational, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, Speaker Series, Employability and Sex Education, each are areas that were found as gaps between what the students were learning at school and what they needed to build emotional intelligence, confidence and resilience.
Full Circle provides funding to our partner schools so that they can appoint a dedicated Leadership Coach to lead the program on the ground. We create Lesson Plans and work with the Coach to build their capacity. The model enables additional teachers to be trained in the program so that the program is not dependent on a single resource and can be scaled as needed.
We also provide robust measurement frameworks to ensure that we keep track of the impacts of the program on students. These measures are defined and connected to the UNs Sustainable Development Goals of SDG4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, SDG5 – Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls and SDG8 – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Our future goals are to expand to additional schools across underprivileged communities around the world including India with the support of philanthropic and other sustainable fundraising sources.
